Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

The Peak Performance Alpine GORE-TEX 2L Insulated Shell Jacket Women is a fully waterproof resort ski jacket with insulation built in, made for full days on and off the piste in cold, wet mountain weather. It combines a 28,000 mm water column and fully seam sealed GORE-TEX construction with 60 g/m² recycled Pinneco Mantle™ insulation in the body, so one jacket does the work of a shell plus a separate midlayer.
Who is this jacket for?
This jacket suits a skier who rides lifts all day, on groomed runs and in lift-accessed off-piste terrain, and wants warmth without stacking layers. It also works as a winter jacket in persistent rain and wet snow. It is not the jacket for high-output uphill days: with fixed insulation and roughly 830 g on the scale, the Alpine GORE-TEX 2L Insulated Shell Jacket Women is too warm and too heavy for skinning at pace, and it does not pack down small in a daypack.
How waterproof and how warm is it?
The GORE-TEX 2-layer laminate uses a 100% ePTFE membrane rated at 28,000 mm water column, with every seam sealed and a PFC-free DWR finish on the face fabric. Breathability is rated below RET 9. Insulation is zoned: 60 g/m² through the body and 40 g/m² in the sleeves and hood. That is light to moderate warmth — enough for cold, damp lift days over a base layer, less so for standing still in deep cold without an extra layer.
Which size should you choose?
The Alpine GORE-TEX 2L Insulated Shell Jacket Women has a regular cut and is offered in XS to XL. Order your usual size and check the Peak Performance size chart before you decide. Because the insulation is already in the jacket, a base layer and a thin to medium midlayer fit underneath in that same size. The hood takes a ski helmet, and the sleeve hems adjust over gloves with velcro straps.
How is the Alpine GORE-TEX 2L Insulated Shell Jacket Women constructed?
Peak Performance builds this jacket as a two-layer GORE-TEX Insulated system: a 100% ePTFE membrane bonded to a 100% Polyamide 6.6 face fabric, with a separate 100% recycled polyester lining hanging behind it rather than a bonded backer. The insulation sits between membrane and lining — 60 g/m² in the body, 40 g/m² in the sleeves and hood — which keeps the arms slimmer where a ski jacket needs movement. All seams are sealed, exposed zippers are YKK AquaGuard®, and the hood brim is laminated so it holds its shape in wind. Two-layer construction with a hanging lining is heavier and bulkier than a three-layer shell of the same water column; the trade is softer handle and insulation you do not have to carry separately.
Is it suitable for resort skiing or ski touring?
Resort skiing is where the Alpine GORE-TEX 2L Insulated Shell Jacket Women belongs. The snowskirt and adjustable hem keep snow out in a fall, the two-way adjustable hood with Cohæsive™ cord hardware fits over a helmet and still turns with your head, and the radio pocket with antenna exit plus the RECCO® reflector cover lift-accessed off-piste days. Zippered vents under the sleeves are the only way to dump heat, since the insulation is fixed — on warm spring afternoons that ceiling arrives quickly. For skinning uphill, the roughly 830 g weight and the permanent fill put this jacket outside its range; a lighter uninsulated shell is the better tool there.
What is it made of and how do you wash it?
The shell face is 100% Polyamide 6.6 over a 100% ePTFE membrane, the lining is 100% recycled polyester and the filling is 100% recycled polyester. The cuffs are 78% polyamide with 22% elastane, which is what gives the elastic wrist gaiters and thumbholes their stretch. Wash the jacket inside out at 40 °C on a delicate cycle with a technical detergent, with all zippers closed and the goggle wipe cloth removed first. Skip fabric softener, bleach, ironing and dry cleaning. Take it out of the machine promptly and tumble dry on low — the heat reactivates the water repellent finish and is the single best thing you can do for its lifespan.
