Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

The Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Zip Hood is a women's grid fleece midlayer jacket with a fixed hood and a full-length zip, built as a breathable layer for moving fast rather than as weather protection. The fabric is a midweight 231 gsm Polartec® Power Grid™ flat fleece with a grid-structured back, which traps a thin layer of warm air while letting moist air escape. Stretch in the weave and flatlock seams keep it comfortable under a shell.
Who is this grid fleece for?
This is the layer for a woman who wants one piece she can hike in through autumn and wear under a ski or touring shell in winter: breathable, stretchy, light on warmth. It is not a stand-alone winter jacket. If you spend your day on chairlifts, standing still in the cold, or need a waterproof outer layer, choose an insulated jacket or a hardshell jacket instead.
How warm and how breathable is the Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Zip Hood?
At 231 gsm this is a midweight fleece: light, active warmth for hiking, trail use and touring, not cold-weather insulation. The grid-backed construction is air-permeable, so heat and moisture move out quickly when your effort rises — and wind moves in just as easily. Put a shell over it as soon as the wind picks up.
Which size should you choose?
The Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Zip Hood has a regular fit: close enough to layer under a shell, roomy enough to pull over a base layer. It comes in XS to XL. Check the Peak Performance size chart on this page against your chest and sleeve measurements before you order, and bear in mind the elastane content gives the fleece noticeable stretch.
How is the Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Zip Hood constructed?
The whole jacket is built from one fabric: a midweight 231 gsm Polartec® Power Grid™ flat fleece. The outer face is smooth, so it slides under a shell sleeve without catching; the inner face carries the raised grid that gives the fabric its name, creating channels for air to circulate against your skin. There is no membrane and no lining — this is a single-layer fleece. A reversed YKK coil zipper runs the full front length and is backed by a chinguard, and the hood is fixed to the collar. Flatlock seams lie flat against the body to avoid chafing under a pack or harness.
Can you wear this fleece for ski touring and hiking?
Yes, as a layer. On the skin track or a long autumn hike, the air-permeable grid dumps heat as soon as you open the front zip, and the thumbholes at the sleeve hems keep the cuffs in place when you pull a shell over the top. At the summit, the Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Zip Hood on its own is enough in mild, dry air; in wind or precipitation it needs a shell over it. There is no hem adjustment and no powder skirt, so it does not replace a resort jacket, and the single zipped chest patch pocket is the only storage — there are no hand pockets.
What is it made of and how do you wash it?
The shell is 60% recycled polyester, 33% polyester and 7% elastane. The polyester gives the fleece its quick-drying behaviour and its resilience to repeated washing; the elastane is what lets the fabric stretch with your shoulders and arms. Machine wash the Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Zip Hood at 40°C, inside out, with similar colours and with the zippers closed. Skip fabric softener — it coats fleece fibres and flattens the grid structure that makes the fabric work. Take the jacket out of the machine promptly, then dry it flat in the shade or tumble dry on low. Do not iron, bleach or dry clean.
What are the sustainability credentials?
The Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Zip Hood is made without intentionally added PFAS, and 60% of the shell fabric is recycled polyester. Because the fleece carries no durable water repellent finish, there is nothing to reproofing after washing — the garment keeps performing as a breathable layer for as long as the fabric lasts.
