Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

The Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid® Half Zip Women is a 231 gsm grid fleece midlayer built for aerobic mountain days, where moving air matters more than weather protection. It weighs 395 grams, stretches in four directions and works both under a ski shell and as a stand-alone top. The grid back is the point: channels in the fabric move warm, damp air away instead of trapping it.
Who is this fleece for?
This half zip suits a woman who wants one breathable fleece for touring, hiking and resort days under a shell, with thumbholes and a zipped chest pocket for a phone or a lift pass. It is not an outer layer in rain or wet snow, and it is not the right choice if you mainly stand still in cold or windy weather — the Trail Polartec® Power Grid® Half Zip Women has no membrane, no hood and no hem adjustment.
How warm and how breathable is the Trail Polartec Half Zip?
Warmth comes only from the midweight 231 gsm Polartec® Power Grid™ flat fleece; there is no insulation fill. That puts it in the active-warmth bracket: comfortable while you are generating heat, and best combined with a windproof layer once you stop. The grid construction is deliberately air-permeable, which is what keeps it from overheating on climbs and helps it dry quickly.
Which size should you choose?
The Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid® Half Zip Women has a regular fit: close enough to layer smoothly under a ski shell, loose enough to wear over a base layer without pulling. What is Polartec® Power Grid™ and how does this fleece use it?
The Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid® Half Zip Women is made from midweight 231 gsm Polartec® Power Grid™ flat fleece: a smooth face with a gridded back. The raised grid holds a thin layer of warm air against the body while the channels between it let moisture and heat escape, so the fabric regulates rather than insulates. Elastane in the blend gives the fleece stretch, and flatlock seams keep the stitching flat against the skin and under a pack strap. A YKK reversed coil half zip with a chin guard at the top opens the stand-up collar for quick dumping of heat, and the patch chest pocket closes with a reverse coil zipper.
Is this half zip suitable for ski touring, hiking and resort skiing?
On the skin track and on the trail this fleece half zip does its best work: the grid back keeps air circulating on long climbs, the thumbholes hold the sleeves in place under gloves, and at 395 grams it is light enough to keep on all day. For resort skiing it belongs under a shell, where it adds active warmth without bulk. It stops where weather starts — with no membrane, no stated water column and no taped seams, rain and wet snow go straight through, and the air-permeable grid gives little wind protection. There is no hood and no adjustable hem, so the shell over it has to supply both. Storage is limited to one zipped chest pocket; there are no hand pockets for gloves or skins.
What is it made of and how do you wash it?
The shell of the Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid® Half Zip Women is 60% recycled polyester, 33% polyester and 7% elastane — a blend that holds its shape, dries fast and takes repeated washing well. Machine wash at 40 °C, inside out, with zippers closed and with similar colours. Skip fabric softener: it coats the fibres and dulls the airflow the grid structure is built for. Bleach and dry cleaning are out, and the fleece should not be ironed. Tumble drying on low is allowed, or dry it flat in the shade, and take it out promptly so the fabric does not set creases.
What makes this fleece more responsible?
Two concrete points. The fleece is made without intentionally added PFAS, and the shell fabric contains 60% recycled polyester. A single breathable midlayer that covers touring, hiking and resort layering also means one fewer garment in the wardrobe.
