Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

The Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Crew is a men's midweight grid fleece pullover, built to be worn as a midlayer under a shell jacket or on its own on a dry day. The fabric is 231 gsm Polartec® Power Grid™: a flat face with a gridded back that moves air and stretches with you. It is a layering piece for people who move and sweat, not a weather layer.
Who is the Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Crew for?
This Peak Performance midlayer suits ski tourers, hikers and trail runners who want one fleece that vents on the climb and still works worn alone afterwards. It is a poor match for cold, static situations such as lift rides or belaying, where a 231 gsm grid fleece on its own is not enough. There is no hood and there are no hand-warmer pockets; the single zipped pocket sits on the back, right-hand side, where a pack or a climbing harness covers it.
How breathable and how warm is a 231 gsm grid fleece?
The grid back leaves channels between the fabric and your base layer, so warm, damp air can move away instead of sitting against your skin. At 231 gsm the Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Crew is midweight: moderate warmth while you are working, not a cold-weather garment. There is no membrane and no water column, so a shell jacket is needed as soon as it is windy, wet or snowing.
Which size should you choose?
The cut is relaxed, which leaves room for a base layer underneath and freedom in the shoulders when you are skinning uphill. Under a close-fitting shell a relaxed fleece takes more space than a slim midlayer, so plan your layering. Check the size chart on this page before you order. Sizes run S to 2XL, and the range varies per colour: Avid Beige, Black and Infinity Teel run S to 2XL, Mountain Lake, Meadow Moss and Terrain Tan run S to XL, and Pine Needle and Brilliant Blue are offered in M to XL only.
How is the Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Crew constructed?
One fabric does the work here: Polartec® Power Grid™, a flat fleece with a gridded back, 231 gsm. The smooth face slides under a shell jacket without bunching, while the raised grid on the inside creates channels that carry moist air away from the body and keep the fleece light for the warmth it gives. Elastane in the blend adds mechanical stretch, so the pullover follows a pole plant or a high step instead of pulling at the hem. Flatlock seams lie flat against the skin to avoid chafing under pack straps. The crew has a plain crew neck, a flat elastic bottom hem, a hanger loop at the back and a zippered pocket on the back, right-hand side. Total weight is 445 grams.
Is the Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Crew suitable for ski touring?
Yes, and that is its clearest use. On a skin track the Peak Performance Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Crew works as the layer you climb in: the grid construction dumps heat while your output is high, and the stretch keeps the sleeves out of the way. At the top you add your shell jacket over it. Where it stops is equally clear. With no membrane, no stated water-repellent finish and an open grid built for airflow, it offers no protection from wind, rain or snow, and on a chairlift in deep cold you will want an insulated layer over it. The back pocket is useful for a skin or a phone when you are moving without a pack, but it is awkward to reach once a backpack hip belt or a harness is on.
What is it made of and how do you wash it?
The shell fabric is 60% recycled polyester, 33% polyester and 7% elastane. A polyester-dominant knit dries quickly and resists the stretching out that heavier natural fibres can show after repeated washes; the elastane is what gives the recovery, and it is also the reason to keep heat away from the garment. Machine wash at 40°C, inside out and with similar colours, and skip fabric softener: it coats the fibres and dulls the moisture transport that the grid is there to provide. Tumble dry on low or dry flat in the shade, and take the fleece out promptly after washing. Do not iron, do not bleach, do not dry clean.
What are the sustainability credentials?
The Trail Polartec® Power Grid™ Crew is made without intentionally added PFAS, and 60% of the shell fabric is recycled polyester. No chemical water-repellent finish is involved in this garment, which is consistent with a fleece designed around airflow rather than weather protection.
