Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

The elastane gives the fabric 4-way stretch, so the jacket moves with you under a shell instead of pulling across the shoulders. It weighs 578 g, has a regular fit and runs from S to 2XL.
Who is the Rider Tech Zip Jacket for?
This is for the skier or hiker who wants a stretchy fleece layer between a base layer and a shell jacket, and who also wants something wearable on its own on dry, mild days. It is not an outer layer for rain or wet snow, and it is not a resort jacket in its own right: there is no powder skirt and no snow-proofing. If you need weather protection from a single garment, look at a shell or an insulated jacket instead.
How warm is the Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Jacket?
Warmth here comes from the brushed back of the fleece, not from an insulation fill. That makes the Rider Tech Zip Jacket a light, active layer: good while you are moving, and dependent on the layer over it once you stop. For long lift rides or standing around in deep cold, pair it with an insulated jacket. There is also no membrane and no hood, so wind and precipitation are the shell's job.
Which size should you choose?
The Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Jacket has a regular fit, cut to sit over a base layer and slide under a shell without bunching. Check your chest measurement against the size chart on this page before you order. If you plan to wear a thick second midlayer underneath, the regular fit will feel tight, so consider the next size up.
How is the Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Jacket constructed?
The Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Jacket is a single-fabric fleece jacket: a recycled fleece of 86% recycled polyester and 14% elastane, brushed on the back so the inside face holds a layer of air against your base layer. The elastane content is what makes the fabric stretch in four directions, which matters on a midlayer that has to follow your arms through pole plants and scrambling without the outer shell dragging with it. The front closes with a reversed YKK coil zipper running the full length, the collar is built in two layers for a cleaner stand around the neck, and an elastic panel at the back of the hem keeps the jacket from riding up under a harness or a backpack hipbelt. Two zippered hand pockets, lined in 100% polyester, hold their contents on a chairlift.
Is it suitable for skiing and hiking?
Under a shell, the Rider Tech Zip Jacket works for skiing and for aerobic days on foot, where a stretchy fleece is easier to move in than a stiffer insulated layer. On dry, mild days it stands on its own as a light jacket, and it is unremarkable enough for everyday wear off the mountain. Where it stops is clear: with no membrane, no stated water column and no stated seam sealing, rain and wet snow go through it, and uncoated fleece of this type lets wind through, so exposed ridges and windy lift lines call for a shell over the top. There is no hood, so your hood comes from the layer above.
What is the Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Jacket made of, and how do you wash it?
The shell fabric is 86% recycled polyester with 14% elastane; the pockets are 100% polyester. Polyester-elastane fleece keeps its stretch through repeated wear, but elastane dislikes heat, so treat it accordingly. Machine wash at 40 °C, inside out, with the zippers closed and with similar colours. Do not bleach, do not iron, and skip dry cleaning and professional wet cleaning. Line dry in the shade, or tumble dry on a low setting if you need the jacket back quickly. Washing inside out also protects the brushed face from pilling against other garments in the drum.
How sustainable is this fleece?
