Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

The Peak Performance Midlayer Zip Hood Men is a full-zip stretch fleece midlayer with a hood, made to sit over a base layer and under a shell jacket. The fabric is a midweight fleece with a flat face and a brushed interior, built from 94% recycled polyester and 6% elastane, so it moves with you and slides easily under a hardshell. Thumbholes at the sleeve hems hold the cuffs in place while you pull a jacket over it.
Who is this fleece midlayer for?
This is the layer for skiers, tourers and hikers who want one hooded fleece that handles the middle of a layering system all year and still works off the mountain. It is not an outer layer: with no membrane, the Peak Performance Midlayer Zip Hood Men needs a shell over it in rain, wet snow or on an exposed, windy ridge. It is also not an insulated jacket, so it is the wrong choice for standing still in deep cold.
How warm and breathable is the Midlayer Zip Hood Men?
Warmth comes from the brushed interior of the midweight fleece, which traps air against a base layer rather than from any insulation fill. The flat outer face reduces friction under a shell. Because it is an uninsulated fleece without a membrane, it vents heat well on climbs and uphill laps, and the 2-way YKK coil zipper lets you dump heat from the hem as well as the collar.

The Peak Performance Midlayer Zip Hood Men has a regular fit: close enough to layer under a shell jacket, roomy enough for a base layer underneath. How is the Peak Performance Midlayer Zip Hood Men constructed?
The Peak Performance Midlayer Zip Hood Men is built from a single stretch fleece: a midweight knit with a durable flat face on the outside and a brushed surface on the inside. The brushed side holds air next to your base layer, the flat side keeps the fabric from catching on a shell. Elastane in the blend gives the body and sleeves mechanical stretch, so the fleece follows a pole plant or a reach overhead instead of lifting at the hem. Closure is a 2-way YKK coil zipper running the full length of the front, and the hood is a single-layer design cut close to the head so it fits under a helmet-free shell hood.
Is this fleece suitable for ski touring and resort skiing?
On a touring day the Peak Performance Midlayer Zip Hood Men works as the layer you climb in: the uninsulated fleece sheds heat on the way up, the thumbholes stop the sleeves riding up when you push your arms into a shell at the top, and the two zippered hand pockets keep a phone or skins strap secure. In the resort it is the warm layer under a shell jacket rather than a jacket for the chairlift. Where it stops is clear: there is no powder skirt, no hem adjustment and no hood adjustment, and the hand pockets are not described as water resistant, so lift-served days in falling snow need a shell over the top. Riders who rely on a RECCO reflector in their layering should note this style does not carry one.
What is it made of and how do you wash it?
The shell fabric is 94% recycled polyester with 6% elastane; the pockets are 100% polyester. Recycled polyester keeps its shape and dries quickly, and the elastane content is what makes the fabric recover after being stretched. Wash the Peak Performance Midlayer Zip Hood Men at 40 degrees Celsius on a delicate cycle, inside out, with the zippers closed and with similar colours. Skip the fabric softener, because it coats the fibres and flattens the brushed interior that does the insulating work. Do not tumble dry, iron, bleach or dry clean it. Line dry in the shade and it is ready for the next day out.
