Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

The Peak Performance Helium Down Jacket Women is a lightweight, packable down jacket filled with 700 fill power 90/10 duck down and built on a 42 gsm 20D recycled ripstop shell, at around 230 grams. It is made to work two ways: on its own in dry cold, or as the insulation layer under a shell jacket. What sets it apart is the ratio of warmth to pack size, not ski hardware — there is no hood and no powder skirt.
Who is the Helium Down Jacket Women for?
This jacket suits you if you want one light, compressible down layer that goes over a base layer on cold dry days and into a pack the rest of the time. It is not a ski jacket: with no hood, no powder skirt, no wrist gaiters and no ventilation zips, it is not meant to be your outer layer on the piste or off-piste in snowfall. For sustained rain or wet snow, choose a waterproof shell instead.
How warm is the Helium Down Jacket Women?
Warmth comes from 90/10 duck down at 700 fill power, quilted in the Helium pattern so the down stays distributed. The Responsible Down Standard certified fill is traceable through the Track My Down® programme. The shell is windproof and treated with a PFC-free water repellent finish, which keeps light moisture off but does not make it rainproof — once down gets wet it loses loft and warmth.
Which size should you choose in the Helium Down Jacket Women?
The Helium Down Jacket Women has a regular fit and runs from XS to XL. Check the size chart on this page for your measurements. If you plan to wear it under a shell jacket, make sure that shell has room for a down layer; if you want it over a thick midlayer as an outer piece, consider the next size up.
How is the Peak Performance Helium Down Jacket Women built?
The Peak Performance Helium Down Jacket Women combines a 42 gsm 20D ripstop face fabric in 100% recycled polyamide with a lining in 100% recycled polyamide and a filling of 90% duck down and 10% duck feather at 700 fill power. The quilting follows the Helium pattern, which holds the down in place across the body and sleeves. The front closes with a reversed YKK coil zipper behind a chin guard, the collar stands up without a hood, and elastic binding at the hem and cuffs seals the openings without hardware. Two zippered hand pockets are the only pockets; there is no chest or internal pocket. The whole jacket compresses for packing and weighs about 230 grams.
Is the Helium Down Jacket Women suitable for skiing and ski touring?
As a midlayer, yes. The Helium Down Jacket Women is designed to be worn under a shell jacket, so it works as the warm layer on a lift day or as the spare insulation you pull out of the pack at a transition or a lunch break on tour. As an outer layer it stops where the weather starts: no hood means no head or neck cover when it snows, and the water repellent shell has no stated water column and no taped seams, so prolonged wet snow and rain are out. There are also no ventilation zips, and the shell is windproof, so on a hard skin track you will overheat — use it for standstills and descents rather than sustained climbing.
What are the materials and how do you wash it?
Both the shell and the lining are 100% recycled polyamide. The 20D ripstop keeps the weight down and the pack size small, and the ripstop grid limits a tear once it starts, but a 42 gsm fabric remains easy to snag on rock, ski edges or lift hardware, so treat it as a light layer rather than a workhorse. Machine wash at 40 °C on a delicate cycle with all zippers closed, without fabric softener and without bleach. Drying is the part that matters for down: tumble dry inside out on low with tennis balls for at least five hours, and take the jacket out every half hour to shake it by hand so the down redistributes instead of clumping.
