Insured Shipping for Orders Over €1000
At our company, your order's safety is our top priority. That’s why we ship all orders valued at €1000 or more insured, giving you peace of mind when you shop with us.
How does insured shipping work?
When you place an order with a total value above €1000, it will be automatically shipped with insurance. The cost of this insurance is automatically added to the shipping fees, so you don't need to take any additional steps.
What are the costs for insured shipping?
Insurance costs are calculated as a percentage of the total order value and differ depending on the shipping destination:
- Within the Netherlands: 0.6% of the order value
- Outside the Netherlands: 1.5% of the order value
For example:
- A €2000 order within the Netherlands will have an insurance fee of €12 (0.6% of €2000).
- A €2000 order outside the Netherlands will have an insurance fee of €30 (1.5% of €2000).
These costs are automatically included in the final shipping costs you see at checkout.
When is compensation paid in case of loss or damage?
In the unfortunate event that your order is lost or damaged during transit, an official investigation will be conducted by the shipping company. The insurer (and therefore we) will only issue compensation once the investigation is completed and confirms that the loss or damage falls under the insurance coverage. This process may take some time depending on the complexity of the investigation.

What if my order is below €1000?
